Under GDPR I am a ‘data controller’ of your information. I am called a ‘controller’ because I make decisions about how your data is used – for example to prepare marketing materials – and I also ‘process’ your data when I carry out basic activities like storing, deleting and changing the information that I hold. I take my obligation to protect the information you give me very seriously, and I always take care when using and processing it.
YOUR PERSONAL DATA
I would like you to be informed about how I collect and handle your personal data. This includes your name, email address and phone numbers. In other words, it covers any and all information about you that is capable of identifying you.
HEALTH AND REGISTRATION FORMS
I also store any submitted forms you may have returned, such as a Transformative Coaching enquiry if you have ever expressed interest in coaching with TYT, or a Private Yoga Client Intake form if you have ever expressed interest in private yoga classes with me.
COLLECTING AND USING YOUR DATA
I collect data from you via three means:
- Via the sign up to my newsletter via my website www.theyogatransformative.com or www.talisyoga.com
- Through you writing your name and e-mail address via a newsletter sign-up sheet at my workshops or talks
- When you fill out a Transformative Coaching Enquiry or Private Yoga Client Intake form, as described above
Only in any of the the first two instances do you opt-in to receive information via a newsletter. Submitting a Transformative Coaching Enquiry or Private Yoga Client Intake form does not opt you in to anything.
Only some of this information is stored on my email service provider account for which I use to send you information about my updates and workshops via a newsletter. It is not given to anyone else. My email service provider account only stores your name and e-mail address; it does not store your telephone number or any other information about you.
You have the right to opt out at any point using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of all newsletters and you also have the right to be forgotten at any point. If you unsubscribe your information will be deleted from the email service provider account but if you would like to be deleted by other means then please contact me at tali@theyogatransformative.com
